Course Information

A qualification in Computer Science will provide you with the skills and mind set to embark on an exciting career in computing or a related discipline. You will learn how to create computer programs using a variety of languages in order to solve complex problems. You will gain an in-depth understanding of how computer systems work.

 

Over the course of the two years you will study:

Database

A qualification In Computer Science will give you a set of problem-solving skills and way of thinking which could also help in many disciplines away from computing, particularly maths and science. A GCSE in Computer Science is not a prerequisite for the A Level course.

 

Assessment

This course is mostly assessed through final examination.
