Daily Rewards

Reward points for being On Side and On Task will be issued by all staff.  These are recorded via ClassCharts and shared in real time with parents.   

Rewards Shop Students are able to purchase items from the rewards shop in exchange for reward points.

Celebration of students being On Time, On Side and On Task will be shared with parents via FreeFlowInfo in the form of photographs and videos. 

Termly Rewards

Student of the Term. At the end of each term, the student with the most reward points will receive a certificate and two cinema tickets to the Maltings.  The student with the second most reward points will receive a certificate and a prize.

Yearly Rewards

Berwick Academy Awards Evening. Students and parents of all students who have received Student of the Term and Most Improved Student awards will be invited to the event.  Alongside this, students and parents who have been nominated for the awards below will be invited to the event (three nominees for each with a prize for the winner and certificates for all nominees). 

Berwick Academy On Side Award.  Awarded to the student with most On Side rewards points across the year. 

Berwick Academy On Task Award.  Awarded to the student with most On Task rewards points across the year. 

Berwick Academy Subject Awards.  Directors of learning will be asked to nominate three students in each subject area to receive the subject award. 

Berwick Academy Attendance Award.  Awarded to the student in each year group with the highest attendance. 

Activities Week. Students will have the opportunity to take part in a week of activities at the end of the academic year.  Students who do not meet behaviour expectations throughout the year will be required to successfully pass a two-week behaviour report to ensure that they are able to attend.
